When will Minecraft beta come out?
Its been Alpha 1.2.6 for almost 2 years I think, I'm still surprised the Minecraft community is still active. They promised Beta around December 20th 2010, and it's already 2013!
Did Notch stop developing Minecraft or something?
My world is getting so big it's starting to lag. Plus, every Multiplayer server I try to connect to doesn't work. I want some new features and fixed multiplayer!

How come when I punch sheep I don't get the wool, and they get damage?
I think they also added a feature that deletes accounts when people act like a troll. It's a really cool feature.

but... if you had a mod, that could of stopped minecraft from giving you updates, therefore keeping it at your version

Beta has passed? Did they finally release it? Ok, how do I update? I know the files are located in appdata, and redownloading the launcher doesn't work.

What is this?? How...... I see this huge biome with these huge trees and near my health are somekind of chicken legs??? Has this turned into an RPG or something?
No, the chicken legs are your hunger meter. It shows how hungry you are by removing half a chicken leg randomly. The more chicken legs there, the less hungry you are. You replenish your hunger meter by eating, and, if full, the hunger meter will start to heal you.
