Might wanna ask the packs' creator instead of making a forum post to confuse people who make skyblock maps.

Lets take for example, this Skyblock map in this thread : https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/the-skyblock-island-survival/comment/9710801/#reply_9710801
This particular map is made for Minecraft version 1.16.5. It's important to try and match the version of minecraft you use to the version that the map creator first made the map in, otherwise, not everything may work.
In the above link, click the blue 'Download Map' button and you will get a zip file called : the-skyblock-survival-map.zip
You need to open this zip file with your favourite zip program, i.e. 7zip, winzip, winrar, etc.
Now navigate to where your Minecraft 1.16.5 intance is and open the folder ....\.minecraft\saves
Go back to the window with the opened map zip file and drag the folder 'By FastLane14' out of the zip and into your saves folder - as per screenshot below :-
.... Restart your 1.16.5 Minecraft instance and you should find the map when you click for a single-player game.
