VERY LONG (future) update log (EITHER on update log itself on project submission page OR as a SEPARATE word document as an attachment)
Happy Saturday!
Since I'll be updating my virtual Minecraft town project soon, as in soon which means by New Year's Eve (December 31st, 2019), go look at the previous update log AND click on "LOAD MORE LOGS" at the bottom (released over 2 years ago), and see how long that is: https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/cyl-city/#update_logs
That one (the old version, which was version 1.6.5), its update log, per se, is 43 items/entries long and posted in the update log system of the project submission page ONLY ON THIS WEBSITE. I think that is fairly long.
My question of concern is when I actually update the world save .zip file, although I'll first post a short-hand and summarized version of what I've done for the next update (which I'll release on New Year's Eve), ON THE PMC WEBSITE, but may I also write the full, comprehensive update log in a Word document as a separate attachment?
In other words, am I allowed to post/link the Word document as a SEPERATE, DOWNLOADABLE ATTACHMENT within the update log itself on the PMC website?
Here's why:
The Word document as a separate attachment, per se, will describe what I've done for my most recent update to my project
as an ENTIRE, COMPREHENSIVE LIST because I anticipate that my changelog/update long will be CRAZY LONG (about 80-100 items/entries), and maybe better suited for a word document, instead of on PMC itself.
Best,
Chiayang Lin Gonzalez (林家仰)
a.k.a. recent college grad.
