something I do that I never see anyone else do: In creative (or with any instantly breakable block), if you left and right click at the same time you can instantly replace a block. This really comes in handy for situations where you would otherwise have to place temporary blocks in order to place the block you want in the position you want.
For example, imagine a block floating by itself. Using this technique, you can replace that block with another instantly, as opposed to destroying it and having to bridge back out to that position to replace it; you can use the block's own hitbox to replace it. I hope this makes sense.
It works more effectively if you can left click to destroy the block just a hair before you right click.

I actually do this! I've known about this little trick for years and I'm so glad I'm not the only one! It's such a handy trick for when you want to build something quickly or if you're dealing with water/lava/falling blocks

Typing ‘/execute as @e[type=!player] at @s facing entity @p run tp @s ~ ~ ~ ~ ~’ will make all entities STARE at the nearest player INTO THEIR SOULSSSSSSSSSSSS
