Aaa.. the old good days of PMC, but.. DONT F*CKING REVIVE THEM!... please?

If I were Notch, I would make using mod's MUCH MUCH more easier. Without Having to download add-on files. I know it'd take probably forever but Notch would be praised by it.

1. Would be hard for new players, and I and maybe other people use dirt as temp blocks when building something.
2. Copper sounds interesting, but redstone should stay, its been there from the get go, so its sort of grown on everyone already.
3. Stone and or wood tools are realistic in a way, but flint could be added as a set of tools in between stone and wood.
4. There are such things as diamond tools (diamond tipped cutters in cutting metal and the like), and gold is used in some other tools also, if only with electronics.
5. No change in smelt time as really unless coal was made more prevalent I would hate having to waste more of it.
6. Volcanos would have to be added for this to work, and technically they would work if they are only generated with the land.
7. Meh probably not to hard to add as a mod, but really wouldn't add much aside from aesthetic looks to landscapes.
8. See number 6.
9. This is being added 1.8.
10. Some more would be good, but not to much, I would hate to be flooded with them once darkness falls.
11. Likely in adventure mode in 1.8.
12. Nope.
13. Hmmm could work if we had more than wheat.
14. We have these now, using shears on leaf blocks.

Well, dirt falling would be nice, but so many caves would fall. Maybe it needs to be connected instead of just floating alone.

So that's my opinion on his idea`s

DadCROIf I were Notch, here are the changes I would make to Minecraft:

1. Make dirt adhere to gravity. Dirt falls = no ugly houses. And it is way more realistic (no flaming about this argument).
2. Completely do away with redstone. I know that it's iconic and *everyone* loves it, but I would replace it with copper. You could smelt it into copper ingots, craft those into wire, and use that as redstone. You could also mix the ingots with iron to make bronze. New tier!!! Also, you could just use copper to make tools and stuff. Another new tier!!!
3. Take out stone and wood tools. I'd replace them with flint tools.
4. Take out diamond and gold as a tool/armor material. It's weird and doesn't make any sense. The new tool tier order would be flint, copper, iron, bronze, steel. The new armor tier order would be leather, copper, iron, bronze, steel, dragon scale (more on that later).
5. Different things would take different amounts of time to smelt. Iron would take 2 coal to smelt into steel.
6. Dragons would live in volcanoes, and would be extremely hard to kill, but they would drop dragon scales, which could be crafted into dragon scale armor.
7. Add naturally-generated rivers. These would be basically very long and thin oceans.
8. Add naturally-generated volcanoes.
9. Add NPC's that lived in towns that you could trade with.
10. Add more mobs, evil and good.
11. You could craft gold ingots into coins to trade with NPC's. Diamond and ruby could also be traded.
12. Add 'create server' and 'join server' buttons to multiplayer.
13. More farming items.
14. Topiary blocks.
15. Creative mode and Adventure mode. Adventure maps could be shared in-game.
16. Mobs would be able to break blocks.
17. Don't worry, you could turn it off (and everything else) in a totally customizable difficulty setting. And there would also be a default Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and Hard.

And for everyone who's hating me for stating stuff that Notch is going to add already, I'm just telling you what I'd do if I suddenly turned into Notch.

Removing Diamonds?!?!?! Thats Just Sad. Npc Villages?!?!?! Thats Just Awesome.
Mobs Breaking Blocks? What about creepers and spiders?? They cant break stuff so why make zombies and skellies be able to?? Also Thats... a bit... Strange.
Alot of this is very strange.. Notch is making minecraft mostly... Very Intresting in 1.8 so he might add some moar secret features that he hasnt revealed to us yet.Iron would take 2 coal to smelt into steel.

Rivers: ABSOLUTELY YES!!!! It would add more varietey to the world and villages and towns would be along them, also heres an idea:
Adding Hunger, Energy (sleep) and Thirst To the game.
Thats why i said villages would be along the rivers of the world.
Servers Should also be more easy to make i like that idea of the "Create Server And Join Server" Impressive.

Why would you need to crawl? Though swimming movements and climbing movements would be cool!

add some more abilities for steve...i know theres a mod for this but i wish they would give it first hand to be able to crawl , climb , swim , maybe it could work out

A lot of this stuff Notch is already adding to the game, and even more of it you can get with mods, and some of it just doesn't make sense at all (get rid of diamond tools? wtf???)

If you're not dedicated/intelligent enough to google "How to create a minecraft server" and play around and evolve and figure things out, you shouldn't run a server.

1. I'd make it so you can add plugins to vanilla server client
2. Maybe an anti greifer system for the Vanilla Server Client
3. Add a shelving system
4. Add Furniture

That's all I'd add ... The rest is already going or is in the game.

Let's Go.
1.) Ok... not the most realistic, and honestly it would be annoying as ****. Imagine trying to start a mine. Or in caves. And as some people have said, caves do have dirt ceilings. I'm not a huge fan.
2.) Why mess with something good? Maybe you could ADD in copper wires and give them a few special properties making them better than redstone, but removing such a main part of the game would not only be upsetting, but everyone would lose what they had made with it. Not a change I'm all for, I like the realism... and I don't mind copper, but I'd like to keep my redstone.
3.) As it is, I don't mind adding in a new flint tier, but wood and stone tools are kind of classic. That's what cavemen used, that's what most stuff is made of... and flint is honestly a pain to find. I don't mind adding in stuff... but again with taking some out... not worth it.
4.) Ok, rethink. You're out of order, you're adding in some trivial stuff, and you're removing some important stuff. Diamond tools DEFINITELY make sense. Ever heard of a diamond saw or diamond chisel? They're quite common and very useful. Dragon scale I'm also not gung ho about... even as Notch plans to add Dragons, I don't think I'd like to go and murder a fire spitting beast for armor. New tiers, +1, removing old tiers... -2.
5.) I like this. But Iron wouldn't take two COAL to smelt, it would take 2 of the seven units out of coal.
6.) Volcanoes I've made a detailed post about. They're cool... dragons living in them... Not an issue. I like it.
7.) Don't see why not...

9.) NPC's I'm not too much a fan of. I think plugins and/or mods would be the better way to handle these.

11.) I like the idea of rubies, and I like the idea of more uses for gold ingots. Again with NPC's... if you want them, use mods or server plugins. I don't see why they need to be added.
12.) This is impossible. Where is the bandwith and RAM coming from? How do you port forward? Let the people that know how to set up servers set up servers, and let they people that don't know how to set them up use teh interwebs to find them.
13.) Yes. Hemp from BTW is a good start.
14.) I'm indifferent here, they would be nice, and they don't have drawbacks, but there's no real reason to need them. Someone could just make a mod if you really wanted them.
15.) Creative Mod - Use Mods. Adventure Mode- Incoming
16.) If they could only break weaker blocks, like sand, dirt and gravel- then yes. But I don't want mobs breaking into my log/plank/stone houses. Homes are supposed to be safe. An alternative is the light theoretically makes them weaker. If a block is exposed to a light level of X or up, mobs can't break it.
17.) I like the idea of more difficulties, I'd like an in game option to stop creeper and ghast explosions and just have them hurt you. Would make me much more willing to play on a higher difficulty.

I'd like to point out that with NPC's I believe it is that there will be generated VILLAGES, but they'll be abandoned and the NPC's won't actually be there. If they all... oops, my bad, I'm upset that they were added.

Ok how about this

1: you get a mod maker to make a mod
(AKA im making a couple new mods that add new tools)

2: Rivers and volcanoes can easily be changed i wrote a class that changed the bottom water level to 60
and it was awsome

3: Gold Its weak, rare, Fast , BUT HORRIBLE
we need some new Astetic things to gold or new redstone things
Because gold is used for computers in real life

4: NPC's No minecraft is about being stuck on an abandoned world all by yourself but i do l;ike the idea of ruins and an old civilization that died out long ago

I think some of the above are good ideas, but some just take too much from the original Minecraft experience that we have all grown to love.

Okay, well first of all, this is really far out there because none of it makes any sense. This would ruin the excitement of minecraft completely. The only valid thing I saw in this post was having volcanoes and dragons. More tiers does sound a little nicer. And more mobs would deff make the game better. But the rest of the suggestions would turn the game in to chaos. And the coding for npc's would make the game really laggy

I think that the create server button would be no good. it could make minecraft servers lag more and be harder to find.

It would ruin alot of things, but make the game ALOT more realistic.. I dunno..

With the more farming, i would like t be able to breed my crops into what suits my style. I.e. wheat mutates into a variety that either grows faster or the bread made from it gives more health. P.s. Dragons would be awesome and they shold love on mountains. Gold is pointless as well but indtead of remveing it as a tier you should be able to use it for more stuff so you don't feel presurised into making it into tools or amour.
