INPUT NEEDED!!!!
Hello,
Currently A friend and I are working on a Server idea together. Its Called Ethermoor and its an MMORPG featuring custom designed mobs with complex animations (ALL VANILLA - NO MODS) and we are thinking long term in the sense that our Texture Pack is gonna be HUGE to say the least. We wanted input on if players would actually want Our Texture Pack to fit within the 50mb server texture pack limit which would limit us to less custom mobs, less custom mounts, less custom armor and weapons, along with every thing else. OR would players take the time to go to our website, download the Texture Pack so we can mitigate The resource texture pack file size limit.
I would love to hear your input on this matter because we would like to maximize the players we can reach.

Nice idea, and personally I would go for making an external texture or resource pack for it, but that's just me. The only real problem is that it'd probably require Optifine.
Everything we have done so far doesn't require optifine. That's one thing I know we don't want to require for people because of performance issues for lower-end PCs. But I greatly appreciate your feedback because I'm on the same boat with just making a massive texture pack which allows us to have 100 custom mobs with dynamic animations but the file size limitation kind of screws us over.
