My friend has a server that some of us play on, and i am the only person who has java errors on the server.When i log in to the server, i am kicked after about 30 seconds saying: Internal exception: java.net.sockettimeoutexception: Read Timed Out.
Ive had the problem for week and i have been researching it for the whole time, all to no progress. My dad is a computer expert, and he doesn't even know how to fix it!!
Ive had the problem in 1.0 too.
Anyone got a solution? Im realy sick of this problem!!

Hmm... Try different ports etc
We are not in the same house, we are using the same internet provider and its not a hamachi server.
Are you in the same house/using the same connection? Is it a. Hamachi server? Please provide more details... Socket errors are errors to with getting the servers data...

Try to reinstall minecraft
Sometimes it says connection reset by peer instead.
I can log into minecraft fine, its just when i get on my friend's server it says that error after a few seconds after logging in.
