I've done some work with both single player mods and server-side plugins. I'm wanting to get back into mod development, however I was curious which one you think will be more received. As in, is there as big of a server community as there was a few years ago, or have the bigger server names mostly taken over? Monetarily I don't care, I just want to see which choice will have the best impact with regards to users enjoying my work.

Thanks for the input!

I would recommend (Since you've done it before) to practice a lot, and maybe do a few free plugins for small servers here on the Forums. That'll give you a good reputation.

But this is mostly up to yourself. I would say: If you want to make money of your coding - go do server plugins.
If you want to make people happy and get a higher reputation - Code some awesome Singleplayer mods!
