Very basic minecraft question!
Hello to everyone! Because I have no prior experience with the game, I'm desperate for help. Even after a year of mine crafting on his iPad, my 8-year-old still hadn't logged on to the official server. So far, everything is great, but before he can use Marketplace or any other services, he must first establish an account and sign in.
Does anybody know if he will lose all of his worlds if he creates an account on the iPad and then logs in again, or if they will all be there? Because the stakes are so high and he's so worried, I've come here to ask for advice before I screw everything up.
Thanks!

no, nothing will happen.
worlds are stored in the minecraft program's folder, and woudn't dissapear.
The only thing to watch for is pets and ender chests, as they go with username/playername.

All of his worlds will still be there when he makes an account! The worlds are by device, not by account, so even if he signed into a different account later on the same device, the worlds wouldn't get deleted.
I hope this helps!
