So I thought I'd play some minecraft online and see if human players make better company than villagers, but searching for servers have left me a little lost to be honest ( I have no idea what all these 'modes' are). I'm just looking for a chill server with chill people that I can jump on when I feel like it, preferably survival as well. But nooo, got me feeling like a noob with all this Towney/Ranks/Factions/Loot crates, just what the heck?
And who puts loot crates in minecraft? Come on!

There is usually quite a few small survival servers on the Servers Section of the PMC forums. I would recommend either a small survival server in the likes of VW-Reloaded, or maybe find someone who wants more people on their Realm server :)
