Where Do You Live In Your Minecraft Worlds?

I Want To See Where People Usually Live When They Start A New Survival World. Do They Live In The Mountains, Or Do They Live Near Villages, That Sort Of Thing.

i usually live in the flat lands :3 easier to build there, and in the forest i worry about monsters coming from the trees as i leave my house

I remember me when i was a kid of 13 years old, and make a cave into the mountain in MC 1.5.2.. good remembers hahah..

Always on the Beach! I like lake and ocean views

I live according to the biome and according to what hits me in the head. What do I want to feel like a cowboy? To the badlands biome. That I have a tropical mood? to the Jungle biome. What do I want to be a Viking Warrior? to the snowy taiga that I'm going.

Near a River or a lake since I want my base to have a nice scenery and a water feature

I live on the move, never stop building day or night. Creative mind, I've not played Survival once yet as I hate being interrupted in the middle of something unless it's important.
I do however have a secret hideout at the bottom of the sea, I filled in the sea bed over a Fissure and then drained half of the water creating an under sea cavern. Wouldn't call it my home but it's peaceful. I have a little mini sub, just waiting for someone to build a control mod for it. Or maybe I'll attempt to make one myself in the future if I get bored of waiting.

I usually build a base floating in the sky. I do it mostly because no mean mobs at my door and I have like my own private paradise.. Almost like heaven :D

I more or less create Strongholds for my bases inside Hills and Mountains.

In Mountains/Hills.
Especially the crazy ones!
Bonus if nearby floating island.
Bigger bonus if nearby village.
I see it as a challenge, and I do love to adapt to the terrain's shape!

I've voted underwater but I mostly build on top of water :o
It's a perfect spot to build on, perfectly flat, no mobs, no distractions or annoying hills to clear. And it's got a great view if you're in the middle of the ocean, I always build Conduits right under my base since I do build underwater aswell :3
Might wanna avoid building on top of underwater ruins tho, those drowned make awfully annoying sounds xd

My base is at an intersection of 3 biomes: Beach, Ocean, and Desert
my storage is under the ocean along with my bed, and all my farms and such or overground on the beach and in the desert. There's a few farms hovering over the ocean's surface aswell

I've always found removing the grass and avoiding lakes too annoying for me. Maybe it's just me tho x)

I'm always on the move. I would have different "safe houses" scattered all across my world. So when it gets close to dark, I go to the nearest one for the night.
