Lets get back on topic.
Part of it is time zones, another part of it is that the forums aren't quite as active nor full of interesting topics as it was about a year or two ago.
I'd imagine most American users of the site at 9:14am EST are either kids who are asleep still, adults who are working or sleeping, or in another time zone of the US so also probably sleeping. I personally was up because I work 5am-1:30pm every weekend in addition to my other hours throughout the week.
Edit: If your post is just quoting without adding or simply an up arrow to their quote/post then you are spamming and are asking for the post to be deleted in the least, up to even banned, so just stop

I get that timezones mess with stuff, but for some countries 9.14pm in North America is 9.14am there cx
(for me it's 2.14am, but I don't count as I don't visit the forums much anyway)

There are 4 timezones in north America. EST is only one of those.
