File size limits

I hope this is the correct method of asking this question. If it's not let me know how I should be asking it.
Q: Is there any way to raise the 10Mb limit on the size of .jar files/mods so we can post them here?

I just raised it to 15MB after seeing this thread. However, if your mod is larger than that, please host it on a third-party file hosting service such as mediafire, dropbox or google drive. You can paste the link to the download on the mod submission form and the link to the download will appear as a "mirror" as a prominent blue button with a custom label of your choosing.

We have the file size limit in place to help reduce bandwidth usage / costs. US bandwidth tends to be cheap but we're a global website and traffic is considerable. I know it might not seem like a reasonable limit for some mods, texture packs, maps but when we have several hundred being uploaded a day and each of those are downloaded X times, forever... it adds up quickly.
