If you external ip won't work then you didn't portfoward or do it correctly.

If you post an ip that starts with 192.168, it will (probably) not work.

The lan ip is what your ip is connected to the router itself. Go to command prompt type ipconfig then look at IPV4 address that's what they want. Hope this helps.

Ok at your router you should enable the port 25565
and then in the properties file u dont have to post the ip adress(i recommend removing the ip from there)
