hey all, i need to know if my server is working,
the ip is 127.0.0.1:25566
i really need to know if everything is working right, so please join, it is only testing if it works, so just join and leave, MCadmin should say someone has joined by then

Also, if you are connecting using the same machine, you need to use the 127 ip or localhost, usually the game does not like connecting out to the internet and then back to itself. Try connecting to your server from the same machine using the word localhost (all one word)

i used that site and it should be 83.128.6.205
so the server IP is 83.128.6.205:25565

That is also your local network IP. If there are other computers in your house, they could connect using that IP. If you want anyone outside your home, you'll want your real ip. This site will show it to you: www.whatismyip.com

You need to use an external IP. not your local
ipchicken.com
that's the IP you need to give people that aren't on your network. They also don't need the port #
