What Every Server Needs

What Ever Server Needs.

servers these days spend there time and money on a server but then never really get the chance to show the people out there. Why does this happen? Well this topic is how to make a good server get it known and some other cool stuff.

No server needs 10+ admin/mods/staff if they don't get regular players that come on what's the point having a server if that is the case. You cant open a server and then OP everyone or gibe normal players the chance to spawn items and/or to do what ever they want. This will result in a server where everyone is bored and/or very griefed and no one want's to join a server that is boring and/or griefed.

A server needs rules but not that many. You could stick to the basics like No griefing, No swearing, Use common seance ect... Having to many rules is just to much and people wont read them. Witch will just mean they wont get the basics but having a server with no rules is like having a server where everyone is king would just be madness.

I will list 10 things a server NEEDS
Every server needs
1. A spawn small or large.
2. A set of guidelines. E.G Rules.

4.A SMALL set of rules
5.Dedicated admins to the server

7.Good plugins (Not any that are not needed)
8.A good builder ( )
9.A good anti grief plugin
10.A way of giving back to your players

I am sure there is many more but I just cant think of any. I'm not GOD XD

All server needs a place to advertise there server for example PMC minelist mcserverlist and of them would be great

Some sort of "team". As in 5 people who will vote give a diamond ect as many times as they can (Not on pmc as you may only vote once but on others its every 24 hours)

You MUST advertise in the right places. Don't advertise your self on a Hacked Client IRC or on the pmc chat lobby and dont spam it ANYWHERE

A successful server has all of these features and more

this is just some guidelines this will not DEFIANTLY get you to have max slots on your server 24/7 .
