1b8Pari is certainly not above the rules. Just ask him.
Why would Pari be above the rules? Give me one good reason.

Mauled?

And yes, he is pretty much above the rules. That's not hypocritical, it's just common sense. If you are one of the main people behind something, all rules and stipulations don't really apply to you.

==Edit==

The fact that he follows the rules just makes him a great person. That doesn't mean he's not above them.

But anyways, this is getting off topic. Point is: Programmes don't go in the mods section.

Programme and program are the same. They're just different ways of spelling it. Don't like the way I spell it? Get over it. At least I'm not spelling it "prgrm."

-.- Just because it doesn't specifically say "No programmes in the mods section," doesn't mean they're allowed there.

"Use proper sections when posting (servers do not belong in projects, blogs don't belong in mods, etc.)"

Meaning - If it's not a Minecraft modification, it doesn't belong in the mods section. Simple as that.

So... Basically Pari's breaking the rules?

Programs do go in the mods section. It did say that somewhere (I forgot where).

Paril is above the rules - He runs the site.

On that note, you'd have to ask him why he put it in the mods section - My guess is because it allows him to track the downloads, and have the pictures in the slideshow, instead of in the post.

And no, it doesn't say anywhere that programmes go in the mods section.

Oh, also, it doesn't actually let him track downloads, as the download link is in the description.

BoboonskiNot true. Mods and programs.

Unless it's something that affects clients (mods) or servers (plugins), it does not belong in the mod section. Mod implies "modification," and a programme that just quizzes you and doesn't have anything to do with the actual game doesn't belong there.

Have you read the mod upload rules rather than just judging from the title?

nicolinkminecraft quiz program

Is this a mod for Minecraft, or just a programme? If it's not meant to change Minecraft's game-play, it doesn't belong in the mods section, it belongs in a blog. Upload it to mediafire or filedropper or something of the sort, and put the link in the blog.

Not true. Mods and programs.
