File saving help on server

rename the file you uploaded to the FTP. It includes the extension on the file, so just rename it permissions.yml or whatever it SHOULD be.

DK15doomerHello, when I try to save my file in permissions on Filezilla, and whenever I press save, it says your about to save this in a text only document which will remove all formatting. So I press ok, and go back to my server, and all the ranks are gone. So I have to delete the rank I just made. How do I make it so it saves properly? Help pleeeaaassse...

try to use something else to edit with, notepadd++ works and is free as well, your problem seems to be that as it doesnt save the formatting it is useless to edit it as the file that holds permissions and ranks requires a very specific format to work
