I have no idea how to modify this... please help someone

Here:

Usage = <ip range start (192.168.0.0)> <ip range end (192.168.255.255)> <outfile> <threads> <scan delay in ms>
I want: <iplist.txt> <outfile> <threads> <scan delay in ms>

Ummm...you do know packet sniffing is wrong, don't you?
That being said...knowing the theory behind it isn't bad.

Trust me, I've done a lot of work with sniffing, spoofing and networking poisoning in the past and you get hardly anything out of it. But, still, try looking for Cain and Abel. It will interface with pcap and you won't need to mess with it's config since Cain and Abel can do it.
