XP Spending
Xp, is currently in use, for leveling up, getting new classes, and getting a sigcard. I think there should be a little more, maybe spending it on something. (IronToastBot had the idea first)
What i cant think of is what to spend it on.Thats where you come in! Please reply and post, what should it be?

So so so horribly sorry for necro-ing a post, but the Diamond money system sounds amazing, how about this, for 50(?) diamonds you can hold a contest, with actual pixel trophies?
heres an idea why not have an cap or skin you can only get through xp and hold a contest for which skin or cape will represent the site
Pardon my Necro, but I think this idea needs a good refresh. The currency idea is great, and the new diamonds instead of likes (new relative to the last post here) could be the perfect way to gain money. More diamonds you get...the more diamonds you get. You could spend the diamonds on things in a virtual store.I've seen this around, like Bing Rewards, where you earn credits or whatever, and you can spend them on things like $5 Amazon Cash, or $5 Paypal. Hell, we are already doing this halfway with the skin contest rewards.

I have thought about adding a gifting / virtual shop system to the site for digital items for our profiles / gifting to friends. It's kind of silly but it could be fun. We wouldn't spend our XP though since you'd be demoting yourself. I would introduce currency to the site, like gold coins or diamonds. It would probably be more fun to accumulate wealth then spending it but yeah, this idea has potential.
when you get diamonds from other users you can spend them on virtual items like custom stuff created by high level users that create offical shops

There are no plans to add a feature to spend EXP, as all of the items mentioned are already part of the current leveling system with the exception of custom classes, and that is likely to be a very high level (80+) award if it is ever added.

Thanks for making this topic! Lol, me as a custom class- How classy! That also gives me an idea- spend the xp to make your own custom classes! Instead of (or maybe in addition to) a drop box of the classes, have a text box to type in anything that fits your fancy. Also have the Master, Expert, Journeyman titles be bought and customizable instead of automatically rewarded. There definitely should be a large cost or a lot of different choices to spend xp on that way everyone doesn't have everything and there would be more variance on the things people choose to display.
