Do you get an e- mail when your subscribee updates something, or does it just add a flag in your inbox?

Anytime one of your subscriptions posts something it will appear just below the popular reel on the front page.
On a side note I suggest doing what nyankitty said sometime soon if you can for simplicity. Also if you have it set to send you a notification upon receiving a PM.

If you're scared of your parents seeing in their email box what you're doing on PMC, or if they're just very nosey and don't understand anything related to PMC/MC, just create your own Gmail email. It takes like two minutes. Hope I helped.
