Is this Allowed
Hey,
i am making a mod that adds in emerald, redstone, lapiz, obsidian and quartz armour, tools, food and maybe mobs.
I would be using eclispe to program this mod but i was wonder if it
would be allowed on this site?
If you have any knowledge about things like this or you are a modrater then
please relpy as i do not want to make a mod that would be banned.
Hope you can help!!!

Mods that are basically just tool/armor mods for materials and dont actually add anything more than the vanilla tools already does with a higher number would be considered simple and therefore disallowed, from what you said in the OP I feel the mod would fall under simple mods, though I will say it is still better than I can/have done.
Thanks but this mod adds in more than just emerald armour and tools. Read my first post
Yes, but this is still overdone.
I can make a emerald, redstone and lapis armor mod right now. I can even add emerald tools.

Stop being rude. No need for it, and it actually IS against the rules.
@OP-As long as you created 100% of it by yourself, or credit those who helped you, you are good. You can upload it.
Basically, just don't copy somebody else and say its yours.

"Simple Mods: These submissions are mods that do not add new functionality to Minecraft, or simply add functions designed to allow cheating. Mods such as new tools, ores, mobs, or recipes for things like diamonds generally fall into this category if they are not adding something new to the game."
So make sure it contains enough to not just be considered a "Simple" Mod.

I'm not trying to be rude.
And I'm just stating how easy it is for anyone to reproduce such a mod.

Well, it's allowed but not that original.
Seriously, Emerald armor mods are EVERYWHERE.
