i think that there should be a button in the "My Account" section of your profile that allows you to view the comments someone has left on them. since it already has the number of comments you have, it should just jump to a list of all of the comments starting with the most recent, instead of just trying to figure out which project it was posted on.

Oh, the current Inbox you see on your account is for the forums. Project / main site comments will get it's own Inbox.
Absolutely. This needs to happen. I also need to allow us to edit and delete our comments plus add an "inbox" in the upper right that let's us know we have new comments. That would link to what you described and the unread comments would be flagged/colored.
