Ever since I saw the new Nether-based wood blocks, I got a feeling that it could be used to create a build based on the world of TRON. With this event, your job is to build something that looks like it is from the Tron series (Classic, Reboot, or DXD eras). Your project will be judged on 3 bases of criteria:
- Creativity - How the build looks like it is from the series, especially if it is original to you or the movies/shows
- Depth - How the build is executed
- Secrets - Devs do this a lot within their own games, try to put in secrets around your build to make it look as if it were from a game like Tron.
Rules (Please read before you make your build!)
Follow all PMC rules and Guidelines
Only builds and command creations count
Follow the NEON aesthetic that the movies give
NO mods, the world will be viewed with only the files from the save data
Enjoy your work!
After the end of the event, no more entries are accepted
Judges can't enter the event
The world has to be in 1.16

Update: after a whole month of nobody entering, I decided to ignore PMC, I returned and I have extended the date to the end of August, just so we can have more than 1 winner

Does a world full of datapacks count? It hits both "build" and "command creation" at once. If this is the case, is a custom resource pack used to make custom items ok too?

For the first 2 parts, yes, they can count, but, I do not want to install extra resources to look at a map

The custom resources were gonna be minimal and would be included in the map folder so if you load it in singleplayer they are included automatically.. You could play the game just fine without them but wouldnt' it look so much cooler if you actually had a throwing-disk item instead of a stand-in weighted pressure plate or something like that? I have a set of driving physics and was planning on making an actual lightcycle game, where players with the resource pack see actual cycles instead of minecarts or something.

I've done a bit of designing and planning and I think you can expect an entry from me! Looks like you found a third judge anyways, so I'm working on a build, think it's gonna be pretty cool!

This sounds like a fun idea, Im usually a fantasy or organic builder but I used to be really into tron. Im really busy with the PMC creators project but maybe i will have some time

you can also get a xbox or ps4, but I'm not sure if they can add custom maps. I think the pocket edition can

I play on java edition, computer.

Sadly, a lot of the world judging process requires exploring the world, which requires an official version of MC, so you can't judge, srry. (MC's like $30 right now, maybe you could pick up a copy)
