With help from DragonsDungeon, I present a skin contest themed Madness! You're free to interpret the theme as you like when making your skin, as long as it is obvious why it's inspired by madness.

The title says "for all skill levels" with a reason. For this contest, participants will be divided into three groups; beginner, intermediate or expert. Please comment below to be assigned to a group. You will be assigned by us, based on the skill shown on the current skins in your gallery. Feel free to mention your preferred group, though!

The reason for doing this is so that each participant will have a fair chance of winning. Skins will be judged by technique and creativity. Original concepts are encouraged, of course! We'll also be awarding participants who show great personal improvement with a special mention when announcing the winners. So try something new and see if you can do better than before! ^_^

Each skill group will have one winner of its own. If a skill group gets more than 10 entries there will be a number two winner and with more than 15 entries there will be a third place too!


An indication of skill per group:

• Beginner: No use of shading, use of noise or a basic use of shading on skins.
  
• Intermediate: More extensive use of shading and readable designs.
  
• Expert: Well-considered use of shading and coloring and intricate/creative designs.
  

The contest will run until July 9, 2018, after which entries will be judged by DragonsDungeon and myself, and possibly and added third judge. Judges cannot compete in this contest. The deadline will not be extended unless there are not enough entries before the set date.

Other than keeping to the theme and the PMC rules, these are the contest rules:

• Comment on this thread to be assigned to a group. Disagree with your assignment? Send a PM to me.
  
• One entry per person, made for this contest, so after the release date of this thread.
  
• You may update your entry as you please before the deadline, don't update your skin after the deadline.
  
• Receiving coaching and feedback while making your skin is fine, but you have to make the skin by yourself.
  
• Upload your finished entry to PMC and submit it in a comment under this thread, or in a PM to me. Your entry will be listed in this thread.
  

Prizes

Mostly, this contest is for community fun and the honor of winning.

Each winner will get a title and badge for their profile. The winner in the expert category will be the Overlord of Madskins. Each winner will get their own, similar title.

The winners will be announced in a dedicated forum post, and I will mention winners on my personal profile too. With enough entries, there might also be some honorable mentions for skin creators who did not win, but showed great personal improvement.
