Yesterday after minecraft went down or something like that. I didnt know what was going on, and it crashed as if I had a messed up mod installed. So I deleted my whole .minecraft folder because I couldnt poin out which one was messed up. Now that minecraft is back up for soe reason its not letting me download my .minecraft folder back. This is what I do
1.Goto mincraft.net, Click Play In Browser.
2. The screen say do you want to update, I click YES.
3. It says determining packages to download, Then its starts to downloa and i get stuck at the very end.
I waited a hour or so and its not working
Anyone no whats going on ? please help.

Ok sorry I just realy need the help. I wont do it again I thought that rule was only for servers. Well Ill just check around and maybe find the stuff the go inside the .minecraft folder to copy/paste it
Press force update in options in the client thing.

And ok well when it downloads im gonna make a fresh copy of the whole folder because all I need is the continents that go inside the folder like, BIN etc.

You can only "bump" your thread once. If you keep bumping it every 2 minutes or so, only your thread would be at the top of the forums. They keep that rule like that for a reason, so no one can just keep spamming their thread to the top.

As for what you can try, maybe click download instead of play in browser. If that doesn't work sorry, it's been awhile since I had issues with minecraft so I don't know too many of the fixes.

well i play client. But forthis im just doing browser. I also gives me the same message when im using client.. so yea
Didn't happen to me, do you play on client or browser?
