i'm closing this contest early because nobody joined.

I would love to join just working on another writing contest already on here but when it is done I will definitely start this one up, hopefully the time allows.
I have a question or two here.
1) is there a limit how many words or how long the story is?
2) do you want completed stories or can their be cliffhangers( basically if I can not finish in time just leave it as is.)
3) as for gore scenes how much is too descriptive?
I believe that is all the question I have, for now @-@

1) Nope. Write a story as long as you want it to be.
2) It's fine either way!
3) I can handle gore scenes very well, but I know some people who can't handle gore, so it really depends.

That's where the creativity comes in making an old boring high school into anything, there is no limit to what events you want to create.
A good example is that it does not have to be Human characters at all.
Or it could be a few days before an apocalyptic end.
Plus a high school theme can bring plenty elements snooty teens, brash boys, over reacting premature assumptions, hell it can be as fun or as bland you make it.
Make your own challenges, describe a life where you have to over come some type of physical or mental issues.
If you think talking about a single math class is boring and your character has ended before giving it a chance to live. I dont know then maybe this challenge is too hard for you.

That's where your imagination should flow, anthropromorphic is similar to humans but not humans, robots again human like qualities but not human.
Create a new race, planet, species all together. Anything that's a beast acting, can be classified as non-human.
Great examples are these old TV shows;
Gargoyles, Silver wing, Darkwing Duck, the land before time, beast wars, even reboot All these shows are non-human but do show human qualities. That is how you can be non-human, look up a few things to get some inspiration.
