Ask questions to members of PMC, but with a twist...
  • About

So you have a question? Ask PMC!

Ask PMC is an entertainment group based around answering your silly (or serious!) questions, but with a twist!
"What are the twists?" I hear you ask; well, look no further!

If you want your question to be answered with just one word, start it with "Spongebob",
If you want your question to be answered one word at a time, start it with "OWAAT",
Or if you want your question to be answered one letter at a time, start it with "Spirits",
and the responders will work together to form the answer you are (probably not) looking for!

See the rules and FAQ at the bottom of the page!

How can I become a member?
To become a member, simply ask in the Guest Book with one of the following roles:
    - Spongebob Enthusiast
    - OWAAT Enthusiast
    - Ouija Enthusiast
(Don't worry! You can request to change them at any point)
Why do we need to start the question with those random words?
So everyone knows what type of answer you are looking for without having to type out a long sentence stating so! Fun fact: the random words are references! Starting a one word answer question with "Spongebob" is a reference to the Spongebob episode where he writes one word for his assignment, and starting a one letter at a time question with "Spirits" is like you're talking to spirits using an Ouija board (just like r/askouija)!
    Where do I ask questions?
In the Wall Post! Simply start your question with either "Spongebob", "OWAAT" or "Spirits" to show what type of question you are asking!
If you plan on sharing your or another person's question, please mention that if anyone wishes to respond, they should do so on the original post, not the share; additionally, mentioning in the share that your question should be answered the way that you intended (one word, one word at a time or one letter at a time) will help avoid any unintentional rule-breakers.
What sort of questions can I ask?
Absolutely anything! Ask for advice on a build, or simply see what PMC's favourite colour axolotl is!
What to do when answering questions?
When answering questions, either start your own answer or add to another (which is done by simply replying to their comment)! Once you believe the answer is finished, end it with "Goodbye!".
To reduce the amount of confusion, please reply to the latest comment when answering (unless the last comment was a mistake).
What rules do I need to follow?
The following rules of the Group must be followed by not only members, but everyone visiting. PMC rules still apply:

Do not spam the Guest Book with:
    - Multiple applications to join; if we do not get back to you within a week, you may send another application
    - Your or someone else's content (advertising)
    - Nonsense irrelevant to the Group
    - Questions that belong in a Wall Post (mistakes can happen! So you will simply receive a warning that your question is in the wrong place, and asked to move it to a Wall Post!)
Do not spam Wall Posts with:
    - Your or someone else's content (advertising)
    - Nonsense irrelevant to the Group
    - An application for someone else to join (especially if they were blocked or previously declined)
Do not Troll Answer; this includes:
    - Doing anything mentioned in the above rules
    - Adding to the response twice in a row
    - Spamming with none-words
    - Giving the wrong type of answer (like using full sentences, or using full words when the Asker said "Spirits")
See the sabotaging rules below for further guidance to answering questions.
Do not contribute to the answer of your own question
Do not influence others' responses (whether it be by hinting at it or telling them what you want them to say)
Do not add to the response and "Goodbye!" in the same comment (do not do them in two separate comments either; let someone else say goodbye or add to it!)
Are we allowed to sabotage answers?
If anything, sabotaging answers is encouraged! Of course, you should still attempt to make cohesive answers, but if the opportunity is just too perfect to pass, then go for it! Here are some guidelines you should keep in mind when sabotaging:

    Sabotaging Ouija:
    - Make sure you have a word in mind; this means not making the answer impossible to complete (like following "B, L" with "Z" or "X")
    - Try not to turn it into a swear or NSFW word (we only say "try not to" because the answer can easily be saved by others, but please keep this in mind)

Sabotaging One Word At A Time:
    - Do not turn it into a NSFW answer
