There are multiple was you can join.
Characters/Extra: If you wish to participate in RP, you must be either a character or and extra. Characters are limited to one OC to use, and extras will be given characters/roles in the RP to follow. To join as a character, you must create a blog detailing your characters most important characteristics, must include name, personality, and how your character is morally grey. The group 'council' will review your character and if we deem your character appropriate, you will be added and your character will be linked next to your name in the members/characters list.
Artist: To join as an artist, just ask in the guestbook!
Writer: To join as a writer, just ask in the guestbook!
Fan: To join as a fan, just ask in the guestbook, or possibly get randomly invited if you show interest in the content.
Your character may not have connections to another person's character or world without their permission. If your character's world is not in the approved worlds list, that does not disqualify your character, you just can't use that world in official RP campaigns.
Your character must fit the ethically grey requirement.
Examples of ethically grey characters:
-Tortured past characters. Ex: Black Widow
-Characters with multiple conflicting personalities.
-Characters with ethically grey philosophies.
-Characters with "programming". Ex: Winter Soldier.
-Vengeance arch characters.
-Anything I didn't mention that still fits.
Any form of ism(racism, sexism) does not count as ethically grey, it's just ethically bad.
Council:
These are the group admins, in charge of all the regular admin stuff. All Council members will be at least level 5 with at least 3 months on PMC, to ensure quality admins.
World Overseer:
These are members who have submitted a world to the group, and are in charge of activities of that group. (Ex: Adding bases, lore clarifications for campaigns.)
Base Leader:
These members are the canonical owners/leaders of the base, and are also in charge of the base in the group. This includes keeping track of who is in current residency in your base in the Bases section of the FAQs, and any lore for RP and campaigns.
Regiment Leader:
Regiment Leaders are in charge of organized groups called regiments, with characters that have similar ideals. They are in charge of keeping track of who is in their regiment (through the Regiment section of the FAQs), regiment organization, and any lore clarifications needed for their regiment.
Character:
People with confirmed characters.
Artist:
Artists in the group.
Writer:
Story writers in the group.
Extra Actor:
People who signed up to play extras in campaigns.
Fans:
Anyone who wants to be updated on the group, and is interested in the content.
Extras are not allowed to have their own character, but are able to ask to be taken off the extra list to join the official cast. Before a campaign, all extras will be private messaged a list of all the extras for that campaign, and will choose their character first come first serve. Once you choose your extra for that campaign of the small description, you will be sent the full character breakdown, outlining important parts of the character and what you can edit to make the character better for you. If you have anything you are not willing to play, please make sure that all admins(council members) know.
Artist have no set jobs, but allowed to make art of RP/story events unless otherwise stated. If they wish to make art of characters outside of the RP, they must still ask permission from the character's creator.
Artists may still have a character in the group, but do not have to.
To submit a world, personal message a general breakdown of the world to the Council members, and we will review it. If approved, you will be given the World Overseer position, should create a blog post detailing the world as the group, and can add your world to the Worlds List, in the same format as the list is in, and linking the name to the detail blog-post.
To submit a base, send a personal message to the World Overseer the base is in, and the Council members. If the World Overseer and the council approves the base, you will be given the base leader role, and should create a blog detailing the base. The World Overseer of the world your base is in should add your base to the Worlds/Bases list in the proper format, and link the base's name to the blog-post.
Make a guestbook post saying "I am moving from base ___ to base ___", and either the Base Leaders or council will transfer you.
Base locations will probably be removed, as they are kinda confusing.
-No racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. This includes in your character.
-No political topics/debates, keep those conversations personal and off this site.
-No bringing drama from in the RP to outside the RP. If I believe that the RP is effecting your ability to be a decent human, I will remove you from the group.
-No slurs.
-Keep cursing in moderation, minor cursing at most outside of RP, follow PMC rules on cursing during RP.
-Don't do anything inappropriate, inside or outside of the RP.
-The regular PMC rules.
The rules are up to editing, if you did something not stated in the rules but admins think is wrong, it will be added to the rules an you will be given a warning.
Due to Earth being a common world with modifications, there are earth variants. Earth variant 0 is our current world, and it is unable to be entered. Earth variants 1-5 are all copies of earth, with often resets that re-align the world to prevent variations of characters. These reset pulses are the only information that leaves earth variant 0. Other variations have a number, based on the difference from regular earth. From 6-150 are Earths that have only a few character variations, plot variations, or object variations, and all still function by the restraints of regular earth. Variants 151-500 are earth with a spin variations, where only important events/characters remain the same. Beyond variant 500 is unknown by the Grey Order.
Due to the fact that we would like to keep the RP realistic, your character can die, be imprisoned, or be deleted from existence. If you wish to avoid this, I suggest avoiding putting your characters in dangerous positions, or creating some form of protection for them. All extremely vulnerable mortal characters have the advantage that the can be bound to the Grey Space, allowing for them to be regenerated in the likely event of death. If your character does die in a way they cannot be recovered, you may submit a new character to the council, and we will review it, or you can choose to become an extra.
If you are speaking as your character, put your character's name, and then a visual notifier that you are using you character, such as (, {, [, <, -, ~, etc.
This feature might be removed do to re-imagining of the groups function.
