In this ranked Jam, you must create a standard sized skin using the provided palette of four Gameboy-inspired colors.

About

This jam is a palette-specific jam similar to the recent Ip's Pick a Palette Jam, except you can only use one palette. The palette, which is attached to this post, is made up of four colors inspired by the screen of the Nintendo Gameboy!

The required palette:

This jam is a finalist jam, but all the trophies are cool, so don't worry too much about getting first place. We do only accept skins, and only in the standard 16x (64x64) size. Thanks for checking us out, and have fun!

Can I use any colors?
Nope! You must use the provided palette that contains our four Gameboy-inspired colors. You are not able to alter them in any way; you must use these four. You can download the palette image right below!

The palette:

Does my skin have to be inspired by a Gameboy game?
Not at all! We only have three requirements.

1. Your submission must be a skin.
2. Your skin must be a standard size.
3. Your skin must use our custom palette, which is able to be downloaded below.

Aside from those, you're free to do anything! You are judged on the design of your character, but it isn't worth many points, so just have fun with it.

  Hey, can you explain about the pallet more? (Do you have to use every color? Can you hue shift? Can you lighten and darken the colors?)

  You can only use the four colors provided with no changes of any kind. It's a fun challenge!
