  Results are out! Thank you to everyone who participated, even if you didn’t make the final results. This has been a learning experience for me. I hope you all enjoyed, and I hope we can do something similar in the future :)

  Hey everyone, I'm doing a bit of a poll here. We got... holy crap 81 entries 👀
  
  So here's the dilemma
  Not all of those entries stuck to the four-color palette, which was the whole point of the challenge.
  
  Should we allow them to continue with judging, or should they all be disqualified from earning rewards? ✅react to allow, ❌react to disqualify. I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone, but I also don't want to invalidate the challenge for the people who did stick to the palette.

  Bubblez705 (Bc you asked to be pinged) As much as some of the offending entries look rly rly good, and I do think they should be included in the jam, I agree that they should be disqualified from judging. This is because adding more colors gives an unfair advantage and kinda defeats the purpose of the jam imo. Especially since the about and the FAQs are pretty clear on the rules being to use the specific four colors.

  Damm then ggs, they shouldn't compete cause obviously with more shades the skin looks better than with just 4 colors, the detail you can add with several shades will make the 4 color skins look like kids made them, but thats just my opinion, do as you think its fair

  I agree with this too. It would be sad to exclude them completely but the rules did state that only those four colours could be used, so they should not be able to win any of the top 4 trophies.

  the four color challenge was definitely the point of this jam, but now I'm in a bit of a pickle bc I don't want to spoil the fun of the people who went over the limit

  I wasn't sure either, never worked with such a small palette before and while I strictly stayed to palette, I do see others used more shading and stuff, which I would have loved to have done if I'd known it was okay
