    Shading hair, again hehe; I find it's much easier to colour than other parts of the skin.. this was practice, as well as a contest entry ^^



    It's a little shiny! Trying to make it appear reflective, and I chose colours to help create a gloomy-setting.. though I'm not sure if it looks that way :^

    I believe my drawing style is semi-realistic(?); I base this off how I draw people, so nothing cartoonish like my chibis ~ then again I could be wrong.. I never research these things well enough to know.

    ooh thank you! I agree it is cosy looking; I'm aiming for something pleasing to the eye but also on the brighter, more saturated side of things.. so I'm not sure they'll stay pastel, but definitely will be colourful. :P

    I've decided to not start with 'welp' for the third post (in a row)..! but I did manage to somehow spend 1 hour building a single flower -<-



    Spent last week decluttering and cleaning a lot, so perhaps my tiredness contributed to the time(?). But I thought I'd share the random build, since I've been meaning to make something using blues <3

    Been working bit by bit on my texture pack, though I haven't had much of a chance this week (I can't believe the weekend passed already ! ; - ;); still so far the axe has come out well, I think..


    Have not viewed this in-game, so we'll have to see exactly how these really look soon..! >:P

    I suppose that's true, honestly I've forgotten that texturing essentially looks same in-game as it does on canvas ~ thanks for reminding me! I feel a little more confident that the items will look as pretty as they do now <3

    It already looks quite good though! And in-game it shouldn't look that different... You might just notice some bits are slightly less noticeable like the saturation variation on the handle itself, or the pommel bit which might be fully or slightly hidden in third person, but you can tweak those later if you feel like you need to. Even something as simple as tweaking the model's display might work if you preffer that path.

    almost forgot the weekly (although it is now a Tuesday on my end) ! Been cooking a lot lately; but unfortunately we're all sick at the moment so I fear my productivity may stop for the next week or two 0~o



    made this pie with my Mum; I convinced her to put the criss-cross top instead of plainly covering it, I thought it'd look more like how a pie is(?), or at least how they've been described in pictures! The filling consists of pear slices that have been pre-cooked in homemade caramel sauce, along with the actual sauce itself once thickened :P

    It's Monday again ~ ! I cannot believe another week of contemplating passed already, oh how time flies :D
    And here's that update on the very old texture pack (FINALLY...), though I cannot say the results came out how I thought they would...


    I suppose this is what happens when you try 'light-sourcing' on a texture pack? :<
    As for the rest of the texture pack (notice the funny grass/dirt)... well that's coming together slowly too = w =

    It's interesting watching PMC update things randomly; these tiny changes just come into place and at any moment - pretty cool when you think about it <3

    Anyway! I've decided to start wallposting again but without the pings (I'm still contemplating bringing these back); <-- initially I stopped because I felt these were annoying + I had some work to catch up on annnd was hoping I'd become less busy afterwards... but I'm not, so I guess it's back to the "weekly-s" -<-

    It is certainly a disability…..for some people. Me? Heck nah. Do I have mental breakdowns in places I probably shouldn’t? Yeah. But calling it a disability for EVERYONE makes me really annoyed because it feels like people are dumbing me down, making me something to “fix” or accommodate. I’M NOT LIKE THAT. I LITERALLY THOUGHT I WAS NORMAL UNTIL I WAS TWELVE.


    idk I feel like “disabled” is a kinda patronizing way to say it. While I know that absolutely no one else would like this and it should not be a regular term we call autistic people, I’d literally rather people call me weird.

    Sorry everyone! This weeks post has come out extremely late - it's just barely out of the holidays and I cannot find the time for anything not work related..

    Unfortunately I've been keeping up with wallposts less and less.. which has also made me contemplate the weekly pings; I've always felt these come across more so annoying than addressing, and paired with my inconsistency, I've decided to make this the last weekly ping for now.
