    Still need to verify if those datapoints are accurate. But maybe i can make the the worlds info/details more data driven and display.. still a huge task for like 200+ worlds o.o

    But should i include such data? of all chests?
    Kinda feels like cheating - but for burried treasure chests that lack the treasure maps feature.. it is kinda required.

    For the treasure chests put on the data thing to know where it is by ur chunk cords being 9, 9 & going down you will find it. Only works by the x on the map.

    big agree, im working out a better implementation. Trails, villages, and spawners do have their own marker (now).
    Only limitation i havent solved is the distinction of those chests. like i cant figure out how mca selector can select a chest with a specific nbt tag.

    > thats a good point hm, i can simply avoid integrate the location data for individual parts. But here clash incentives for server owners vs community vs solo yolo'ers. As different people use the worlds. If you are talking UI wise, i have added toggles for every type and category :) and by default all icons are not displayed on first page visit (without and with markers [​chests not added yet on the public site])

    on the treasure maps/ chests, thats an big issue with custom worlds, as its a hardcoded feature, they only generate for vanilla chunks, and worldpainter has no integration for that. Hence why my intention was to have the opportunity atleast to find them.

    Making the loot chests visible one type at a time (i.e. trail ruins, villages, cage spawners) would be useful.
    Hard to tell from the pic, but at least some of the chest icons look to indicate this already.

    As would the facility to turn off acces to each type at the server level [​if this is intended as a server based tool]

    (If one supresses treasure maps – but leaves the loot chests to which they would point – this would encourage strip mining beaches, there then being no other [​non-cheaty] way to find them.)

    i tried finding all the structures manually, and my brain exploded.
    Tried building a helper

    and nicely there are pytorch libraries, for image processing,
    so now i run some pattern recognition libraries around my world to find all possible locations,
    i still do manually lable them, this is just to find the locations.

    hit rate varies much still.. hope that gets better with more data points

    Started adding POI-Pins / Structure markers:
    For Strongholds, ships, mineshafts, villages. Basically everything.

    Only things that are missing and are hard to get by are truly underground structures with no surface indicators, and some underground biomes.
    Working on it tho~






    Both images together are like 500 markers lol rip my eyes looking at millions of pixels

    Skin artists can now choose whether to disable downloads on per skin basis. Why? Because some artists want to share their personal skins, some want to share commissions, and some just want credit and more control over how their work gets used elsewhere.

    When you upload or edit a skin (or mob skin), you'll find a new "Allow public downloads" toggle. Turn it off and:
    • The download button disappears from the page
    • The direct download link is blocked, even if someone has it bookmarked
    • Your skin still shows up fully in listings, your profile, and search. It's just view-only

    This is opt-in and only affects new uploads or skins you edit. Nothing changes for your existing downloadable content unless you flip the switch yourself.

    Artists please note that this feature discourages casual downloads but cannot guarentee complete protection of your work. Hoping to see some high quality inspirational skins that would otherwise never see the light of PMC!

    For the new maps
    Biomes are now based on

    mainly latitude,
    hemisphere loc/ season,
    (altitude not fully yet),
    wind directions (that shift with latitude),
    evaporation/heat bands,
    global participation / global rainfall (bands),
    coastal proximity,
    it takes in mountain effects (theres this effect, that when rainclouds rise accross a mountain range, they loose their energy and water on one side, and drop at the other as cool & dry)

    then ontop comes the previous new forest gen, impacted by
    slopes,
    erosion,
    flows,
    and water proximity
