You should have feather falling, protection, thorns, fire aspect, mending, and sharpness at least. Remember that potion effects and fire cannot be applied to the dragon, so don't bring spectral or tipped arrows. Flame bow is also not needed. You can't shoot Endermen nor apply fire to the dragon, but bringing a bow in general is a good idea.

Seeing how they are now 5 versions that are newer than 1.7, it's clear it's pretty out of date. And I've been with Minecraft since 2014, I know what it was like in those days. But since Minecraft got a bunch of updates to make it even better. End of story.

Well there have been 3 updates since 1.9 now, 1.10, 1.11, and 1.12.


1.9 isnt old.... or Good.


I know it's super old, but there have been 3 versions since. And how is it not good? Fixed combat, elytra, expanded End, lingering potions, respawnable dragon, igloos, beetroot, and so much more. It's probably my favourite update.


And if thats the only mod you have tried no wonder you don't like mods. Try a REAL mod before you even consider judging them....

I don't even know what a client mod is, since the only mod I ever used was Lucky Block back in the good old 1.9.

Anyway, Most vanilla players get optifine and NEI and map mods anyway.


What on earth is optifine? I'm a vanilla player but I never heard of it.

One problem: I am pretty much the dictionary definition of an introvert.

I only have one who has Minecraft, and I do make videos with him sometimes.


people notice you more then the popular servers.



True,but once again, I'm not a really social person. Besides, on servers like Hypixel, i don't care at all if no one talks to me, nor do I try to get someone to do it. Most chatting I do on servers whatsoever is either something to do with the minigame I'm playing, or just asking "how can I grow on YT? Been doing it for 3 and a half years so advice is really needed".

For me there is nothing to repair. But if you think there is, the best thing to do is give it time until another update comes out. For example 1.9, one of my favourite updates ever. Fixed combat, expended end, elytra, lingering potions, and so much more. It focused on fixing, improving, and adding so much useful and needed stuff.

Ever heard of updates? You know, something that is added to Minecraft once in a while that adds more stuff to do?


, but people, we crave human interaction as a base need


That's probably why I play Minecraft so much, because I never care about interacting with people.


The best bet you have is if you want to keep that spark going is finding a server that has a community that you love hanging out with.


The only servers I go on are the popular ones, which are popular but haven't really got a "small community" thing, and own server, which only I and one of my friends go on.

I don't even interact with anyone on servers. The most I do is occasionally ask "how can I grow on YT? Been doing it for 3 and a half years so advice is really needed" and I never get any answers. The main reason is that more popular servers are just better quality. The only redeeming quality small servers have is that they are more often in the latest version and with 1.9 combat.

So any other ideas anyone?

Version 0.1.2 (The Natural Update) is out now! It adds:

4 new biomes.
1 new block to find underground.
2 new items to create with that new block.
2 new plants.
1 new food.

So yeah, very natural.
