I keep meaning to replay the demo since they've done a massive update since I've last played but I haven't been able to find the time. I don't recall the story at all tbh (so maybe that's exactly your point) I just have so much fun with the grid based movement. Really hits the nostalgia.
Also I think I might be right about FFT getting a revival? SE has pre-orders for Ramza, Delita, & Agrias action figures coming out in October. With SE, it could mean nothing, so I don't wanna expect anything, but I can still hope lol
ik!! really hyped for triangle strategy, hoping if it does well square will do some sorta re-release of ff tactics. & personally loving all the hd-2d games planned. really good direct for jrpg fans!
Posted my entry for the Minecraft Magic Event! It's everybody's favourite belt-weaving sultry black mage, Lulu from Final Fantasy X! Sans enchanted doll, sadly. I'm no modeller. Click the pic to see her!
Be sure to pop by the event and check out everybody's arcane creations! Maybe enter something of your own!
So uhhhh I was informed while uploading my newest skin tonight that I am "not authorized to manage tags."
I literally just uploaded a skin yesterday, tags included. Is there something about submission #158 that constitutes the necessity for a limiter? Was there always a cap for tagging your work? I've been here for nine years and I've never had this issue before. What the hell?
I've come to realize almost all my best-performing skins are Mario characters.
Do you guys really just want Mario skins that badly? I could very well try to find somemore interesting or under-appreciated Mario titles to draw from, if you'd like. Mario Clash, maybe, or Mario Party Advance. Hell, Hotel Mario!
Of course, I do realize there are plenty of more famous titles that have characters that are rarely covered (hence my SMB3 Boom Boom skin), so I'll be sure to dig through those too!

1.) Only my old personal skin, which I never uploaded.
2.) A couple times. I just wanna know if any of my subs actually look at my work sometimes. ^_^;;
3.) Nope. Even if I would do something so petty, I haven't had any interactions with anyone here to incur such behaviour.
4.) No. See above.
5.) I mean, technically copying someone's style is all I do, since I convert game sprites into skins. I do try to embellish where I can, add extra details to spice them up.
6.) H E L L no. Some of my older skins have noise, but that's only because I used one of those skin template sites. Noise is only to be used in very specific instances.
7.) Usually it's because I genuinely enjoy their work. But, sometimes I'll follow someone just because they followed me. Scratch my back, y'know?
8.) I didn't even know that was a thing you could do here. Are these actually Skindex questions? Lol
9.) what
10.) I try to use the overlay as much as I can. Rarely are there no details I can use the overlay for.
Gonna do a reboot of elfie_'s Honest Skinner Challenge <3 Share this post, or copy-paste the questions into your own wallpost & answer as many as you want.
1. Have you ever edited a skin without giving credit?
2. Have you ever made a post for attention?
3. Have you ever reported a skin out of spite?
4. Have you ever blocked someone for no reason (or over something stupid)?
5. Have you ever copied someone else's style?
6. Have you ever shaded a skin using noise?
7. Have you ever followed someone else just so they'd follow you back?
8. Have you ever downvoted a skin?
9. Have you ever made a skin backwards?
10. Have you ever made a skin without using any of the overlay layer (or only using it)?
Please just remember, no hating on others and only answer the questions you feel comfortable with <3
It's been a while coming, and I honestly should have gotten to this sooner. As you might have guessed, I am an absolute nut for Final Fantasy, as evidenced by my numerous FF-themed skins.
I already made all six of the original Light Warriors from FFI, and obviously, I do intend to cover the rest of the NES/FC trilogy someday. In fact, I already have FFIII's Onion Kids, Dark Cloud and Zande done! It only makes sense to make the Wild Rose rebels from II and all 25 of III's playable jobs. And then, I realized something.
The Fighters from I and III, and Firion from II, are all the exact same sprite.
Sure, there's little tweaks to the armour here and there, but they're ostensibly the same general design. Now, I pride myself on having a lofty collection of sprite-based skins, but I figured that making separate posts for all three of these upstanding swordsmen would be... greedy. So, I figured the best way to approach it was to simply tack them onto the Fighter post as alternate skins, as I've done with characters such as Boom Boom, Urban Champion, and, well, the Onion Kids.
So, if you want a Fighter with a slightly different flavour, be sure to drop by the page here to scoop up the new alts! I'll be bringing plenty of brand new FF content in the future, so stay tuned!
Note: The Black Mage and White Mage are literally the exact same design and palettes as their FFI counterparts, so you can just use them in your Minecraft FFIII party and no one will know the difference, lol.
Thief and Black Belt/Monk, however, will be receiving brand-new skins based on their new III designs, while Red Mage will probably get an alt on his page.
I've been looking back on my little skin gallery, and man are there a lot of characters no one has ever heard of in there. I just can't help it; I have a weakness for lesser-known retro games!
Here are some notably obscure games I've covered. Which would you say are the MOST out there? And are there any games you love that no one has ever heard of? Maybe some that you'd like to see skins for...~?
Legacy of the Wizard (NES) - Adventure platformer, guide a family of heroes through a vast dungeon to collect magic items and defeat a terrible dragon! Ridiculously long password saves!!
Ultima: Exodus (NES) - Port of an American computer RPG, create a party of four from eleven possible classes and explore the land of Sosaria to find a way to defeat the eponymous entity that terrorizes it! The floor is an enemy!!
The Wing of Madoola (FC) - Japan-only adventure platformer, lead a brave lady warrior to castle Arakusu and seek vengeance on the man who betrayed her kingdom! If you beat the final boss with less than 1000 MP you literally can't finish the game!!
King's Knight (NES) - Top-down shooter, help a band of four heroes survive to the final stage so they can defeat the dragon and save the princess! Really hard and kinda lame!!
Kid Kool (NES) -Platformer, find the seven magic herbs to cure your king before he succumbs to his illness! Controls like ass and the true ending is locked behind a time limit!
Hoshi wo Miru Hito/Stargazers (FC) - JRPG, lead a party of psychic children on a quest fraught with mystery that does end in any way like you'd expect! Known as "the legendarily shitty game" in Japan!!
Little Samson (NES) - Platformer, switch at will between four vastly different heroes as you make your way to storm the dark prince's castle! Sold horribly due to lack of promotion!!
Little Ninja Brothers (NES) - Hybrid action/turn-based JRPG, travel the wacky world of Chinaland to save its emperor from the wicked Bluto! One of few two-player RPGs on the NES!!
Turrican is the main character of a platformer shooter game known as Super Turrican. Here are a couple links for more information, if you're interested:
