I know these skins will be judged based on uniqueness, but would it be ok if I made a skin of something that already exists? (I had in mind to make a skin based around deep root disease from Gemini Home Entertainment because I figured it would fit this theme well)

Mine is technically from a dream, but I think the four-digit number at the end took inspiration from the item numbers on Lego sets. Power Miners was my favorite set series when I was a kid, and most of the sets for that series had IDs that ran from 8956 to 8964. (You get the idea)

Not sure if this is possible, but could my entry be for 2 contests at once? (I am indecisive about entering this one or the Minecraft Magic event)
EDIT:
I didn't see anything against this within Planet Minecraft's rules but I'm still doubtful either way.

Not sure if it was removed, but I believe there is a block called a shrub. It looked just like a dead bush but only spawned in swamps.

IMO Iron block has the worst texture. For me, it doesn't resemble iron much. When I think of iron, I think of a light grey color, unlike the white shade the block has. Also, the horizontal lines get too repetitive, especially if you use them as the floor for a build.

Use bone meal or change the games tick speed. But if you are trying to get the tall oak trees, you need to build a 4 block tall pillar with a half slab at the top next to the sapling. Then apply bone meal.
