My posts usually get 4-8 likes, but when I post something special/interesting they get more attention and I'd have 20+ likes. There's a very wide range.
What is the "10 likes threshold"? As far as I know your wallposts show up in people's feed only if they follow you.
This is a small community so you can't take attention for granted, but it also means that people who do care about you certainly see what you post every day, and they'll like/comment if they feel like it.
Don't feel like you need them though, you're already known all around on PMC for your creative art :)

I tried picking a passage from one of my books that would be easier to understand, but I guess that I did not succeed in that regard haha.

In terms of improving audio: Yes, I did simply make a quick recording on my macbook, using the built in microphone + a quick noisefilter. I do however have an actual microphone (somewhere?) that would be a big improvement. Will deftly consider investing some money into a good microphone and audio setup so that my recordings are not so noisy :)

Glad to hear. Always have that fear (as a non-native speaker) that I have a strong Danish or German accent that makes my speaking difficult to understand haha. But glad to hear that I'm understandable :)

Going back to your late night thoughts, with the way you phrased stuff. I did not expect a -for me- way to complicated long sentence in English as an example usage. I guess it has to do with your studies.

As for which recording I like?
AI voice, buuutttt I do prefer the potential in your own voice. The AI one sounds more clear, less echo/hollow? Accent? as a fellow non-native English speaker I like to ask to which accent you're referring. I do think there is also some room for improvement in recording. If I have to take a guess your recording with your phone rather than a dedicated microphone. Plus with playing with some settings would go a long way. But yeah investment time again in that route...

I prefer the first one! Both are good, but the AI has a bit of a weird compression to it, whereas the original sounds more natural. Your voice is easy to understand in both!
