    Mini Blocks Data Pack! (Teaser)

    Minecraft has a incredible amount of blocks already, but sometimes you just want to add a few more blocks of your own. This new data pack I've been working on, VoxBlox, allows anyone to create blocks consisting of many smaller voxels from within the game! No need for creating your own resource packs or installing mods, which is perfect for multi-player servers as well. Some example use cases include putting 3D bowls on tables (we all thought of this at some point), decorating workspaces with desk lights and gadgets, building a lovely mini garden or even creating collectables / trophies during multi-player events.

    It isn't quite finished yet, but here is a little teaser in the meanwhile:

    When there are so many buttons, that you create a custom resource pack with icons and the chat controls end up looking like this:


    Any guesses on what these controls are for? The data pack is going to be soooo cool, I got the most complex part done, but oh boy there is a long road ahead of all the other stuff I need to do...

    LunaEclipse4304 Chimerabotο»Ώ Kind off.. The control panel shows several controls for each of the 3D axes. If you use the Z axis for A/B buttons, I guess you can put in the Konami code, although it won't do anything special haha.

    When you placed 4x4x4 cubes of blocks, for around 90 block types and it might be your greatest achievement yet... If I can get this to work it might be the greatest thing since sliced bread ehm... Pet Heaven!

    Just over 125 unique fireworks have been submitted so far! Are yours amongst them yet?


    During the 30th and 31st the server will be locked down every now and then to test the show. Submit your fireworks before then. You can submit as many as you want.

    The fireworks show will happen twice, so that everyone around the world can get a chance to see it. The following links will open a website that shows the date and time of each launch in your time zone. Make sure to be at least 5 minutes early, you don't want to miss the countdown which starts before the listed times.

    SNBT Parser


    Advanced data pack creators often work with stringified NBT, the kind of gibberish with all kinds of brackets, colons and commas. I just finished a programming library (C#) that can parse a string like this into an easy to navigate object model. Soon this will be used in the Data Pack Checker to analyze NBT without poking blind into a bag of characters.
