Do y'all have any graduation cap ideas? Nothing I've seen online is really appealing but maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

WaffleBear • 2021-12-14 17:51:17

I'm on the last book of this really cool trilogy called Arc of a Scythe by Neal Shusterman. It's basically a dystopia, super far in the future where death isn't a thing anymore. But in order to keep the population under control people take the job of a scythe whose goal is to go around "gleaning" (killing) people. It's a pretty cool series

Hey y'all!

So.... It's been quite a while... and tbh I haven't been into making skins or playing minecraft in general recently... buuuuut I thought I'd throw something out there

First off- school is the WORST. People say senior year is supposed to be the hardest, but for me it's been nothing after nothing after nothing. I have 5 classes total (most ppl have 8) and of those classes I do work consistently in 1. Quarantine got me in the habit of finishing my work as quickly as possible so that's probs why. Also, I take no AP classes and have laid back teachers, which is rare, so I understand how some can be struggling... I wish you all the best!

I took the ACT and I'm really proud of my score! I got a 30, which I'm really impressed with since I don't retain any information. Yay!

I got accepted to a couple of colleges- the only two I applied for. I'm going to one that's going to give me $5000 for merit-based reasons. Plus, I can room with my sister, AND I basically lived there over the summer, so I'd say I'm a little familiar with it.

Recently I've been reading The Raven Cycle! I really like it. It took 4 years but I made it haha. I just moved on the The Dreamers trilogy (?) sooo...

I haven't been making as much art recently- which is okay as long as I make things I'm happy with- but man do I miss it.

I'm getting a letterman! It's a pretty small thing, but it makes me feel accomplished lol. I do set design for my schools theatre class, meaning.... i sit there most of the time anyways hdkfgfdk.

. . .That's pretty much it. I'll make a couple more posts with recent art... and then probs disappear for another two months (hdhfjhfsdbkfjkdhjkcgs SORRY)
