Greetings I'm Maritime Nexus and I am a Solo Minecraft Shipbuilder.

I am an expert shipbuilder on Xbox with years of experience creating 1:1 scale ships in Minecraft. My overall goal for shipbuilding in minecraft is to have a ship build for most ocean liners and cruise ships (famous and obscure). You can expect to see classic ship builds from well known ships across history, as well as first-of-its-kind ship builds of not-so-well-known ships. From Historic Ocean Liners to Modern Cruise Ships, You'll find it here. Subscribe.

Before you explore my Ships, You need to know:
    1) I don't follow tutorials, so what you see is up to my interpretation and my building style.

    2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build. Some areas may not resemble the actual ship and in those circumstances, I have to fictionalize some aspects about the build to "balance out" the build or to allow player interaction. I fully recognize 1:1 is not a perfect scale to build in but I personally find 1:1 to be where I strive the best.

    3) I don't build cabins, engine rooms, or crew spaces. The reason is there is little to no information on what some of these spaces actually look like, so I'd rather not spend the time to build something that I don't have information on. There is dead space on my builds because I primarily focus on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc) and tend to focus less on passenger corridors, cabins, crew spaces, etc. I apologize in advance if you expect a full build with no dead space.

    4) I highly recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for exploring my ship builds. I exclusively build in this texture pack to give my builds a unique look and feel (plus its easier on the eyes for me). You can explore my builds without the texture pack but it wouldn't feel the same, so I highly recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion. Here is the link for Java.

    5) I am a strictly a solo builder, I do this because I like to have full control of my builds and also like to keep out the pesky griefers.

      Introducing Maritime Nexus.

Formerly known as Bungus, I am now transitioning to my new identity: Maritime Nexus. You can refer to me as Maritime Nexus, or Bungus if you're still used to it, or by my real name Bryan. Of course you can still expect the same content as always, I am simply rebranding my channel to fit more inline with the content I make.

The reason for this change is I want to make my identity more approachable and professional both on YouTube and within the Ocean Liner Community. Before this change, the name Bungus did not have any relevance to ships or Maritime content, It was a meme name I gave myself while playing Call of Duty and the name has slowly started to wear out as I am growing my platform.

So why Maritime Nexus? The name comes from two meanings: 1) I produce ship content, whether that be Minecraft Ship builds, Ship Horn Compilations or Film Archives. So I generally cover Maritime Ship content from a variety of areas. 2) As as I make different type of videos, the name Nexus comes from the “connection or link between things”. All the content I make or will make is connected to maritime history. So that's where I landed on the name “Maritime Nexus”, a place where Ship content is produced and pays homage to the history of Ocean Liners and Cruise Ships.

So that's the update and my new direction for my brand! Changes are rolling out to all platforms. Thank you all for understanding.
