Introducing MS Song of Norway Minecraft! [Exterior Only]

This is a 1:1 scale build of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship MS Song of Norway! This build is in her pre-lengthening form (early 1970s) and is an exterior only build.

Short History of MS Song of Norway:
She was built in 1970 by Wärtsilä Helsinki Shipyard, Finland and was the first purpose built ship for Royal Caribbean. In 1978, she was lengthened by 85 feet, to provide for 1024 passengers and increasing her size to 23,000 gross tons. She was built with two other sisters, the MS Nordic Prince and MS Sun Viking. After her service with Royal Caribbean she spent the next decade and a half with other cruise lines and being renamed over and over again. Her last owner was Formosa Queen Corp. and was named MS Formosa Queen and was operated by Asia Star Cruises. Finally in November 2013, Formosa Queen was sold for scrap and was broken up in China in 2014. Marking the end of her 43 year long life.

Read this before you explore my ship builds:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion. I exclusively build in this texture pack to give my builds a unique look and feel. You can download the Natural Texture Pack here.

2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build. Some areas may not resemble the actual ship and in those circumstances, I have to fictionalize some aspects about the build to "balance out" the build or to allow player interaction. I fully recognize 1:1 is not a perfect scale to build in but I personally find 1:1 to be the sweet spot for me.

3) I don't build cabins, engine rooms, or crew spaces. The reason is there is little to no information on what some of these spaces actually looked like, so I'd rather not spend the time to build something that I don't have information on. There is dead space on my builds because I primarily focus on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc) and tend to focus less on passenger corridors, cabins, crew spaces, etc.
