I found out what defines the unicode sizes is a file named glyph_sizes.bin but i don't have it or know where to get it? Does anyone have any info on this?

Theres nothing wrong with using [] in the names, i use it too, and have been using it for years, it looks cool on the names, lots of servers use it, the problem is the space before the name like i said. There CANT be any spaces, if he wants to use a space it has to be a _ then essentials converts it to a space.

Dude... How the hell does a normal player have permissions do create Holograms in the first place?
Using wot edit won't help, as those armor stands are not "real" Holo Displays just uses them to make the floating text.
You can use /HD remove HologramName

Or go into your holographic displays plugi folder open database.yml and manually delete all offensive HD's.. However you need to be sure no one that shouldn't has perms to create holograms in the first place...

That is totally crap. The biggest servers i the world are a business (like Mineplex and such) they exist to generate money. I do agree thats not the best reason to make a server, and if an owner needs to ask how to make money he probably is doing something wrong.

It all depends on what type of server do you have, people usually donate to get things others can't, to get things faster and easier cause they are lazy. Money, items, perms, etc... FYI when i first started my server in the first 3 months i had my "investment" payed and enough for more 6 months of my expenses... But you're number #1 priority should be to actually have a decent sized player base, thats the hardest part.

"I want players to be able to raid bases, but still have a protection on their land."

This sentence is very contradictory, how can u have something protected but at the same time not protected? Factions does this by no allowing raid/grief if the faction has a power above a certain level.

A millions things could be causing this, an plugin error, a mod error.
Check you server log and paste (using pastebin) what's happening right before the server crashes.
You logs should be in the same folder as your jar, worlds, etc..

Assuming you are using essentials the spaces are correct, however some enchant names are wrong. alldamage, durability, etc...

lol. I have an offline server and the has never happened to me, i have my server for almost 2 years.

What do you mean delete him?
De-op; remove any perms; ban; ipban. Theres no way he can come back after that unless the owner gave him console access or something.

You should send a ticket to your host if you are having trouble using something you should have.
Also, changing host doesn't mean you have to reset, you can move everything from a old to a new host...
