Indeed, it is. I was able to reduce the height of my brewing station by one so that it only takes 90 blocks of space instead of 118 using this method.
So I messaged Xisumavoid whether he could share this concept and instead of replying, he built a smaller brewing station three days later.

Yes, my design is one block deeper. However it stil doesn't matter that much because you would probably build this in a square tower, wouldn't you? So that means you still have two blocks of space in the back until you reach the wall which is just enough to fit in a staircase for example.
I am very happy with how it turned out.

After I watched Xisuma's latest Hermitcraft episode, I had a chat with Red3yz about hoppers, and he talked to Dinnerbone, who released another Snapshot that fixed a problem with minecarts not distributing items to every hopper they pass.
With this snapshot it is now possible to build efficient furnace arrays and that is exactly what I did. Here is the video:

It shows only the concept, however. If you want to have a tutorial how to build this, leave a comment or send me a message (whether on PMC or YT doesn't matter) and I will do that.

I am back! I decided to put my singleplayer series to rest for now, in order to get my SMP series going. You can expect more videos on CloudLine in the future. I have also planned two more tutorial-like videos. Unfortunately there is a bug in the newest snapshots that prevents Redstone Comparators from updating under certain circumstances, so I will wait with that until it has been fixed.

In this first episode I build the foundation of my house at spawn. As always, I would appreciate it very much, if you watch the video, rate it and leave a comment.
