    I'm obsessed with all those big moral questions nobody has answers to.
    At what point is someone beyond redemption? Only death?
    Is it right to force someone to put their life on the line for a good cause as a sentence for their crimes?
    At what point is killing someone outside the law justified?
    What is the relationship between vengeance and justice?
    If killing someone to save another is trading lives, what makes one life more important?

    I can't just settle for half answers or excuses. I need rules. Hard and fast. Rules that are tested, real, and understandable. "Well, it's a hard question" isn't good enough for me, but it's often the only answer I'm given.
    Opinions, even wrong, speak of character.

    justice effectively repays a debt. lets say someone drinks, gets behind the wheel, and injures an innocent driver. justice could look like paying off the victim's medical bills, entering rehab for alcoholism, and dedicating some time to discouraging drunk driving. it reforms the perpetrator to be a better functioning member of society, and betters the world as a whole. vengeance is punishment without repayment. in that situation, it could look like jail time with no rehabiitation, no payout to the victim, and no lessons learned.

    Morality as a whole, is.

    Is morality, in the end, a social construct built to withhold the integrity of the human race?
    Is it souly for the survival of society?
    Or is it something more?

    And when they make acceptions, what exactly is the "greater good" they do it for?
    Merely protecting society from a murderer?
    Protecting those you love?
    And perhaps that is enough. Perhaps in a world that will take your loved ones away, perhaps taking someone else's is fine.
    But an eye for an eye makes the world go blind...
    But inaction has caused you to loose that loved one and the world has already moved on...

    As someone who keeps lots of things in their pocket. I dislike modern car key fobs. Like trying to pull a boat anchor out of my pocket. XD

    Need to dig my keys out of my pocket. Also get my wallet along with it. Need to dig my wallet out to pay at the cash register. Keys come along too lol

    Weather is... annoying
    Apparently, monsoon season where I live is a real thing, it's usually just so mild by the time it gets here that it's like 20min of rain and that's it, but this year, driven by the super el nino or whatever it's called with the tides and trade winds and stuff are pushing more moisture to the source of our monsoon winds, so more moisture gets drawn up and it ends up with basically turbo monsoons compared to normal
    Looks like it's gonna be on and off each week through late September probably.
    At least it's cooling down though
