Dungeons II is actually so good

Weekly Challenge: Write a story about the protagonist having to stay in an ancient, unheard-of hotel (for whatever reason) that is hiding its own dark secrets that go along with the mini town's history. (This will be due at the end of this week or the next if I remember).

If anyone participated (don't break my heart and tell me nobody did it...), please submit your work below with a link to a Google Doc or some sort of website page, or simply post it as a comment.

❓MCS S8 - Update (statement?) to the community server

In short: 💻 ⚡bzzt 🔌🪦

What happend.
- So a while ago the server shutdown un-gloriously due to a power surge and outage, that killed cables and the server,
[and other stuff like my microphone apparently (oof)].

I have now recovered it and am trying to do some investigations on it. So far it seems working, and without any other incident recorded, but still checking.
A world download coming soon.

Whats next?

- Recovery and continuation is possible.
- Tbf, im unsure, if i want to bring it back online. I definitly need better backup, notification and analytic methods..

-- 1: demand? Do you want to continue ? Ive been severly inactive in mc regards, hence public knowledge and interesst will be very dampend for i believe. + if no one cares then i dont want to sink to much time into it.
-- 2: I am severly concerned, especially in regards to security. I have already put substantial efforts in sand boxing, isolation and separation across systems, networks and co - but theres only so much i can do - and im no enterprise nor 50y tech wizzard.

Like im truly nervous to host something publicly, when these ai giants, let their LLMs ravage across the internet un-monitored. Not even to mention the automated attacks people themself are releasing onto the web.. for like "active" monitoring and defense i lack the knowledge/wisdom and time, basically the premis in the worst case: get blasted, clear and rebuild from last backup.. not really the incident i strive for. Not even to speak about the possibilities of ddos attacks that after all these years are still a thing accross the mc community, just wth.. (recently: tubbo's hoster incident)

Concerns Background:
OpenAI, Anthropic and co have had multiple incidents where their ai's have breached websites, forums, wikis, and government infrastructure over months without either the firms or the ai-companies noticing. And i dont intent to be one of their, or some dudes clawd bots, victim.

📋 Simple 🕷️ Laws of this household
- stay in your corner or at your place
- handle the bugs and flies
- if you do harm to me i expect to be the next spiderman

- *!!!DO NOT SUDDENLY VANISH!!!*

Why you 🕷️ braking the pacts!?!

Currently working on my own book, hopefully to be published in 1-2 years when I'm estimated to be finished!! ;D

Yes, we're doing this again! I know I've been so inactive for so long, but I'm going to try and be more active here and give weekly and monthly challenges and some other fun, writing things to do! Hopefully some people are still active here

the girl i'll never be

She walks in like the morning

With petals in her hair,

A garden follows softly

Whenever she is there.

She’s the kind of beauty

The moon would stop to see,

A magnolia in the sunlight,

A dream I’ll never be.

And I am only a shadow

Beside her golden glow,

A little forgotten wildflower

That no one stops to know.

She laughs and all the roses

Would look on with envy and fade,

For nothing born of nature

Could match the light she made.

If beauty had a language,

She’d be every word it knows,

The sweetest spring confession,

The first and final rose.

But I will stand in wonder,

A quiet soul beneath the trees,

Because she is the garden—

And I am just the breeze.

I don't
I forgot
