Are you pressing two buttons at once? That is one of the causes.

lwjgl (some component for MC) has been buggy on one update, try downgrading/upgrading.

People on Mac OSX having keyboard problems can try to delete there caches, do a pram reset and all that standard stuff on mac osx.

If you want to join one, I suggest make more builds and post them, or get them noticed, people will want to recruit you if you are popular. Also, change your profile picture from the default one. People think you are more professional and grown up if you have an original profile pic. Having the "steve" pic makes you seem lazy/uninterested.

If you want to form a group, do all of the above, and socialize more by posting on forums and commenting on peoples work. Hope this helped.
