YES
old cars were so charming because they all had different personalities, all the brands had different ideas and their models weren't all that similar either to other models of that same brand. This variety is visible in not only the shape itself, but the type of cars that were produced, you had offroads, coupés, saloons, A and B-segments, and not only that, everyone loved experimenting juuust a little, even if the classification was that, you could see they hadn't much in common.
and can you guess who ruined the party? that's right, it's the SUV's! they're supposed to be cars good for offroading, for the road, for long trips, short tips... basically all-rounders, and at first, they were actually good cars, they were, in fact sportive, useful and vehicles.
but then, I don't know who, started the trend of, making SUV's that just, aren't that good. and oh boy did it catch on, everyone started making high cars that had nothing more to it, and they started making cars that started looking like each other
untill' we end up today, when you can see a car 20 different times with a different brand written on it.
(also I HATE how they are all white, fully white, with a hint of full matte black, THAT'S IT, WHERE ARE THE GOOD OLD VIBRANT COLOURS, THE WEIRD SHADES OF GREEN, ORANGE CARS, HELL EVEN BLUE 😭 a small minority still makes this kind of coloured cars, a good example is Fiat, but that's the only affordable brand I could think of, most are just really expensive sports cars)
