  • Who am I?

    I'm an old game developer with a few games in my backpack. The most known being Magicka 2, for which I was the lead designer. Nowadays I'm studying at the university again to improve my programming skills.

    My passion, however, lies somewhere between game design and programming. Thus I've really fallen in love with experimenting and making datapacks for Minecraft over the years - as frustrating as it can be - because progress here is immediately useful and fun to play around with.

      My development is largly based on when my friends play Minecraft and that goes in waves. That said, I have countless times tried to implement new off-hand item features I would really love to see, but I always seem to hit a dead end. I'm super proud that the datapack contains the things it does, but I'm really itching to get more in.

      Now that Minecraft allows for the creation of custom enchants I might get into that. That would be the first thing, however, in the datapack that would inject new types of items into the game. Stuff that wouldn't disappear when the datapack is removed. And considering I might want to bind certain enchants to functions and whatnot, uninstallation wouldn't be a clean deal. Not sure what I feel about that. Maybe I just shouldn't care too much.
