    if i took the mona lisa, changed the hair color and style, finally added on those eyebrows and fixed up the mistakes, maybe even change the dress and background, and enter it in a contest and win because of how much it is like the mona lisa, would that be ok?

    i got clip studio paint pro for free trail on another device. unfortunately its not macOS or windows so i'd have to buy it twice if i wanted it on both my PC and it
    but i'm speedrunning trying the program out because the sale ends SO SOOD ;_; the interface is so complicated and i have to connect a separate keyboard to get keyboard shortcuts AAA

    It's a good reminder that just because someone has a job like this, doesn't mean they're happy and healthy. Same goes for professional content creators or streamers. Sure, someone could have their dream job, but it doesn't mean that they're mentally or physically healthy and people need to respect them not only as creators and professionals, but also as people.

    also, a reminder to everyone to make sure you're not taking art off the internet and using it without permission and/or (depending on the situation) credit! i see this all the time and i know people don't mean harm, but even if you found it on google or pinterest or something, that doesn't make it free for you to use without at least crediting the artist. and pay attention to "do not repost" requests too please ;-; i've seen far too many reuploads or screenshots of art even with "do not repost" next to the watermark :')

    I just wanted to take a sec to say that AI art is horrible. It uses work from artists without permission. Artists spend countless hours and use all kinds to effort to make their work, and these generators are totally disregarding that. AI art is bad, rly hope it dies down soon. :/

    i didn't say being straight was bad. it's completely fine. straight pride isn't a thing because straight people haven't had to go through anywhere even slightly close to the discrimination and struggles of the lgbtq+ community. of course that doesn't make them bad people. it just means that they haven't had those experiences and have no NEED to be proud of their identities because it's automatically accepted.
    and i agree. although by the definition of "pride" i do think it fits in a lot of ways

    this really, really needed to be said. AI art is terrifying for so many artists including myself. It shouldn't be legal. They should have to pay or at least have PERMISSION to use our work in their databases, but they don't.

    Can yall do me a favor? When some dumb drama stuff happens DM me a link, I may not respond to you but I'll look at it. I am so incredibly sick and tired of logging on and looking at the wall post section only for it to be just whinging about drama. If you guys report it to me I'll look at it. Doing this mob thing about it aint working and its getting harder and harder for me to leave it be, step one to not leaving it be is going to be lots and lots of deleted wall posts cuz last I checked this isnt facebook and we dont need the drama here.

    I am going to repost this any time I see some drama stuff until I have lost all patience for it, so please help me so I aint gotta be an absolute grinch in the wall section.
