    Without knowing your tablet's brand or model, I wouldn't know what to suggest other than any of:
    • Updating tablet drivers
    • Reinstalling tablet drivers
    • Downgrading tablet drivers to an older version
    • Physically reconnecting tablet
    • Disabling Windows Ink
    • Changing tablet input API in Krita
    • Restarting drivers before launching Krita (I have had to do this for my Huion for a few recent releases of Krita, seems to be fixed in 5.1.1)
    If you like, I could do a little searching for you and try to troubleshoot your issues.

    Don't let the free aspect of Krita give you the impression that it isn't fit for serious art, it's quite fully featured. The character art in the description of this skin was made with it. Many professionals make great work with Krita.

    But whatever program you choose, I suppose what's most important is how smooth your workflow is. If you feel at your creative best in Medibang, that's great! Some artists choose to stick with an old pre-CC version of Photoshop and still put out stellar art. There goes a saying in the art community that better tools don't necessarily make a better artist.

    i've heard good things about krita! right now i'm using medibang paint which works quite well for me and is free. as i get more serious about art, though, i probably will have to move to a different program like csp

    I don't use it, but I'll share my recommendation for an alternative. I have always used Krita and I love it. It's free and always will be free. I think it would work well for your painting style. It's got the liquify tool (as a setting under the transform tool) you mentioned that you wanted.

    i was trying to figure out why a pen's ink didn't show up on my hand, but it suddenly did, and it was a red pen
    so i took a blue pen and drew an arrow towards it and wrote "not blood"
    or i tried to write "not blood", but i misspelled it ;_; (my absent-minded brain...) i promise i'm actually quite smart although this whole thing seems to show the opposite haha
    so now that's on my hand. yay. hopefully i can get it to come off before i actually go anywhere lol

    update: i think it was water-based ink, it came off really easily c:

    i put a cardboard box under my monitor and now i can stand up while on my monitor lol
    feels very weird

    ... but if i want to sit back down i have to take my monitor and stuff off my desk, move the cardboard box, and then move all the stuff back to where it should be (keyboard, mouse, etc.)

    I had a lot of free time today and I spent a lot of it just doing sketches with a real pencil and in a real sketchbook! I love digital drawing but there’s just something about pencil on paper idk

    Me, staring at my sketchbook for hours trying to design this character I first made idk more than two years ago for the hundredth time (exaggeration, but still): “ah yes Pinterest, an artist’s best friend” ignoring the fact that I’m too lazy to actually log in to my account

    rarely do i physically feel tired not because of physical activity, but right now i feel physically tired because of uhh mental activity i guess?

    skindex censors "skindex profile" into "******* ***file" because it doesn't like people saying "skindex pro" which is a rip off website :p at least that's what i'd guess, i do remember that that website just has a bunch of skins on it from skindex and looks similar to skindex
