    Got my Surgery done like 3 days ago, Didn't get on my PC until today bc i was too scared to do it. :P

    My feet have been doing okay, i don't like that i can't do much on my feet but the casts will be off in 6 weeks so until then, I'm gonna have to be pushed around and stuff

    ALRIGHT EVERYONE BUCKLE UP, GOOD OL' IRISH IS GONNA CLEAR UP THIS "HACKED SKINS" DRAMA:

    You will not get hacked by using a skin you have created.

    Its is pretty much impossible that you will get hacked by a skin by your friend.

    And if you even were hacked, you would not lose your PC to "hackers".

    Here is the official statement from Mojang.

    But Irish! The Sun/Avast/Reddit said it's real! No, no, no. Every single one of those sources is basing their info on a single post from Avast. The post (From Avast) in question had very little research, and it quoted none of their sources. What does that tell you? That this is a big, overly dramatised mess.

    The "hack" in question is a snippet of code that has been embedded into a .png. It is not some Trojan Horse or Kill Switch, and to make things even funnier: Minecraft can't even run the code. That's right, to run the hack, you would need to download another piece of software. So even if for some strange reason you do get a hacked skin (Unlikely), then you won't even get hacked.

    Anyway, this mess is over. Mojang has patched their system, so your skins and meme folders are safe. You can all stop fear mongering now.

    Well, I'm staying safe and not downloading, applying, or uploading any skins for a couple days. They say its resolved, but who really knows the internet. To some of us, like you, believe that its over and safe. To some of us, like me, believe we should stay cautious and make sure nothing gets wiped.
    Besides, I'm staying clear of this and listening to my Mother, since she was the original one who told me.

    I want to say that I'm so very happy that alot of the people I know have not been affected by the Malware/Virus that was put into downloadable Minecraft skins.

    I've researched on it, and I've seen that the malware/virus was put into the .PNG files. Making it download to your device, and wipe all of your files, data, memory, etc.
    Yet, I do not understand how it works. But it did, and it affected 50,000+ players. Their devices were wiped clean of everything.
    Like buying a new device, with NOTHING downloaded to it.
    Again, I'm happy to say that all of my friends havenot been affected by it.
    I'm so sorry if anyone you know was affected by thishorrific virus.

    I do have a problem, though. Some say the problem
    has been resolved. I'm not taking any chances, though.
    I'm waiting a couple of days, or even weeks, to make
    sure that its 100% gone. I'm not going to be uploading,
    downloading, or changing my skin. I'm avoiding
    downloading anything, and checking websites
    I've never visited before. I'm being cautious, and making sure my laptopdoesn't get wiped.
    (I will continue to post wall posts, and reply to them. Posting smaller things like fourms & blogs will continue too.)
    Note; I am NOT trying to start anything here. Not trying to scare anyone, nor troll anyone. Its wrong in every way to troll people on the internet about these sort of things. I wanted to talk about this some more. (I can't drop things like this :/) I'm sorry for posting this again, and continuing the horrific topic.
    I am ONLY warning people about this. Even if it is resolved.


    EDIT : I had a comment saying on one of my posts that this was 'swirling with fake info' and its 'over dramatic'.
    Alright, sure, its over dramatic. But it is true. And it isn't swirling with fake info, I read through other websites, they all said the same thing. Its either they were lying, or I was blind. Either way, I tried reading out the whole 'mojang fixes it' or whatever. I read it out to my friend, on skype, and she didn't understand it. Nor did I.

    Alright guys, I have something serious to talk about right now.
    I'm not a troll, nor am I spreading fake rumors.
    I just want to warn everyone. I don't know if you've heard about this, but there is a virus in downloadale minecraft skins. So DO NOT download any skins.
    This morning, my mom told me not to download any skins.
    Why?
    Because the virus can wipe all of the software, data, etc off of your PC/laptop/device. If you don't believe, search it up.\

    Edit : Including your skins, they're dangerous too. Don't take the chance of downloading/uploading the skin to minecraft.
    Avoid anything to do with downloading untill there are no more warnings of the virus.
    It could last a couple days, or even a couple months.
